Marco Island Historical Museum

This exhibit explores how we get here, how we move about, and how transportation defines us as Marco Islanders. Hop on your boat, plane, train, car, or bicycle and cruise on into this exhibit.

at Roberts Ranch

13-acre historic site and museum was once originally home to cattleman Robert Roberts & his family.

Naples Depot Museum

Set in Naples’ restored SAL depot, welcoming visitors to the railroading boom days of the 1920s.

Marco Island Historical Museum

Long famous for its Key Marco Cat.

NAACP Annual Black History Celebration

February 22, 2026

Join us in celebration of Black History Month with a free, special program coordinated and presented by our local NAACP Chapter. Hear updates regarding the process of the Black History Baggage Car project and speak with Museum Staff to share your input and story!

Preschool Program: Wild Florida

Inspired by the Collier Museum at Government Center's special exhibit with the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation, learn about the amazing animals that call Florida home and how we try to save them and their homes! Preschool-friendly crafts and wildlife biology activities will get your child excited about our wild world.

Intro to Leather Working (EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED)

Introduction to leatherworking workshop with Ms. Andrea Halman. This workshop will go into the basics of creating a sheath for knives and also how to craft a wallet. This workshop is perfect for those looking to make their own leather goods and learn the essentials of this old time skill.

Naples Train Day

March 14, 2026

All aboard for Naples Train Day! Join us for a fun-filled celebration of railroading history at the Naples Depot Museum. Explore our historic train cars and learn about the railroad with hands-on activities. In collaboration with the Naples Train Museum, train enthusiasts of all ages can purchase a ticket to ride on an actual train, and interact with model train displays.
