Home
Our mission is to foster appreciation and understanding of our communities’ unique heritage and cultural development.
COVID-19 Information – We’re are glad to welcome you back to the Museums. Here is what we are doing to keep everyone safe:
- We are practicing social distancing. We ask visitors stay six feet from other groups and to stay with your group. We are carefully monitoring the number of guests in the museum. We may ask you and your group to wait outside to allow other guests to leave. This will help us maintain social distancing.
- We have sneeze guards and stanchions in place and are using cloth face masks and other forms of PPE as appropriate. We encourage you to use those items as well.
- We have placed arrows on the floor to encourage a flow through the museum. Please be mindful of other guests and these arrows as you enjoy the museum.
- Throughout the day we are disinfecting high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and counters. We have taken all interactives and manipulative activities offline, but you can still enjoy our “look-but-don’t-touch” exhibits.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us by phone, email, or at our greeter’s desk. We want all our guests to feel safe and comfortable while visiting the museum.
