What started as a celebration of the “end of season” transformed into an almost fifty-year-old tradition to pay homage to the locals of Naples, Florida. Explore the many themes and awards that captivated participants and onlookers of the Great Dock Canoe Races. Also learn how and where the races operate today!

Set in Naples’ restored SAL depot, welcoming visitors to the railroading boom days of the 1920s.

We’ll explore which animals live on the farm and the sounds they make and then have fun making a corny craft!

Her Unyielding Resolve: A History of Women Who Saved the Everglades

Inspired by some of the less-represented voices connected with Museum of the Everglades’ current temporary exhibit, this just-after-Mother’s Day talk will celebrate some of the truly tenacious women who worked to protect and preserve the only Everglades in the world: some well-known like Marjorie Stoneman Douglas and others all-but-invisible in our written histories.
