Reverend Clayton Leon Hodge, Sr. is the sixth child of James Lee Hodge, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Hodge. He was educated in the local schools of Duval County. Reverend Hodge served as the pastor of Bethel A.M.E. Church of Naples, FL for 19 years and was a resident of Immokalee, FL for over 20 years. Throughout his tenure, he served as the pastor to several prominent Naples African-Americans, including Herb and Alma Cambridge.

Our Stories, Our Voices is part of the annual Collier County Museums lecture series. Native or long-time residents of Collier County will discuss their experiences living here and how the area has changed.
