Community Conversations – Immigrant Community

May 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Collier County Museums is proud to present Community Conversations. This new series invites various members of our community who are often “othered” to give voice to the injustices and obstacles they’ve experienced living in Collier County and what is needed to right these wrongs. In addition, the discussion will include how those who desire to be allies can support these community members and how current allies can increase their support. These events will be live streamed via Facebook and Zoom. In-person seating is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Masks are required. RSVP required (Please use the form below to reserve your seat). All lectures start at 6:00 pm.

In May our focus will be on immigrant communities. We welcome representatives from The Haitian American Community Coalition, Amigos Center, and Immokalee Coalition of Workers.
