Homeschool Program: Welcoming Diversity

All people and cultures should be respected. Learning about different cultures help children learn to respect, celebrate, and appreciate diversity. These programs will use age-appropriate lessons to foster appreciation for diverse people and cultures. Space is limited. RSVP and mask required. All programs begin at 10:00 am. Please use the form below to RSVP.

January 27 – In January we will discuss what is diversity and why is it essential to our society.
February 24 – In February we will discuss the social skills needed to show respect to others.
March 24 – In March we will discuss our personal narratives and why we should tell our stories.
April 28 – April’s discussion is on how we should be socially responsible when using social media.
May 26 – May will be the culmination of our series with presentations by students on a culture that is different from theirs.
