“I am a native Floridian and have lived in Florida for almost 50 years, more than half of which have been in Naples. I became interested in the field of research during my university years, when I studied biology-pre-med. I began researching local history 26 years ago and wrote my first book, Naples’ Oldest Tradition in 2008. I am currently writing the history of the wars in which the United States has been involved, beginning with the American Revolution through the Vietnam War. I have been the historian for Naples Historical Society since 2013.”
