Movies at the Museum – Wind Across the Everglades
January 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Enjoy this classic film (shot on location in Everglades City in 1957) outside, under the stars in the museum parking lot. Featuring a unique cast of characters that includes Burl Ives, Gypsy Rose Lee, and Christopher Plummer in his first starring role, “Wind Across the Everglades” tells the story of an Audubon Warden battling a gang of outlaw plume hunters. The film considered by many to be the first major motion picture addressing environmental and conservation themes.
All attendees are asked to provide their own chairs for this outdoor event.
