Twelfth Annual Collier County 4-H Livestock Show

The Twelfth Annual Collier County 4-H Livestock Show will be hosted Thursday, January 18 through Saturday, January 20 at the Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch, 1215 Roberts Avenue W, Immokalee, Florida. Admission and parking are free.
The livestock show is a countywide competition for 4-H youth to exhibit their livestock projects such as rabbits, poultry, goats, swine, breeding cattle and steer. Everyone is encouraged to come out and watch the competitions and learn more about livestock production and show. The purpose of the livestock show is to teach youth the fundamentals of good stock husbandry, to provide a wholesome product to the consumer by educating 4-H market livestock members on food safety awareness, to emphasize production and quality in farm animals, to stress the breeding of better livestock, to demonstrate the finer points of fitting showmanship, and to provide recognition and a fitting climax to each year's efforts.
On Saturday January 20th at 7:00pm all market swine and steer will be auctioned. Food will be available for purchase from Southernland Catering.
Thursday - 7:00pm – Swine show
Friday - 7:00pm – Steer and breeding cattle show
Saturday - beginning at 10:30 am - Goat, Rabbit, and Poultry shows
