Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of the Collier County Museums: they assist in enhancing the quality of our guest’s experiences and provide their creativity and the dedication needed to assist in planning and implementing our programs and special activities.

Our museum volunteers assist with our educational workshops and lectures, student programs, group tours, greeting our guests, research projects, cataloging, computer assistance, gardening, maintenance/handyman work, arts & crafts preparation, office duties, and our diverse special events.

Collectively, this very special group of volunteers contributes thousands of hours of service to the Collier County Museums each year and is instrumental in supporting our organization. Volunteers at the five Collier County Museums contributed over 9,400 hours in 2018, and over 50,000 hours in the last six years combined!
